Professional Orientation
The aim of the Professional Orientation Programme (POP) is to develop orientation activities that contribute to facilitating the labor insertion of students in the last year of studies. With this aim, the Faculty organises a Professional Orientation Conference that includes: round table discussions with the participation of experts of professional profiles compatible with the BA and MA programmes of the Faculty, as well as practical workshops on abilities and skills related to the job search, creating a CV and preparations for job interviews, teamwork in the workplace, etc. Students who participate in the Conference obtain a certificate of completion and attendance.

Workshop: Techniques for effective public speaking
This is an innovative 6-hour-long workshop course that alternates work METHODOLOGY and PRACTICE, and will be taught over three sessions. It is part of the Professional Orientation Program (POP) for our students of the Faculty of Labor Sciences, designed with the aim of helping students make effective presentations, organise their ideas, improve their selfesteem, capture and maintain the attention of the audience. Through this workshop, they will obtain the tools to improve their communication skills and increase their productivity. These are HIGHLY PARTICIPATIVE SESSIONS, in which theory and practice go hand in hand. Therefore, the course participants become aware, from the very beginning, of their level of communication skills and how they should work on improving them. The workshop will be taught by Mr. Eugenio Camacho López de Carrizosa, MEDIA COACH & COMMUNICATOR, trainer and journalist with 30 years of experience in the field of communication. Director of the Cadena Ser programme Hoy por hoy for the province of Cadiz. From 1991 to date he has worked at ABC, Cadena SER, Localia TV, Onda Cero, Una TV, La Voz, Canal Sur, Grupo Joly and Jecomusa (OJRTV).
The workshop will take place on November 14, 21 and 28 in the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Labor Sciences (maximum 30 participants), and in the online format. It is an activity aimed especially at students who are in their final year of BA studies, although it is open to all students.
